I made a booking 10 days prior which was all confirmed along with rate. I advised that I would let have my hotel details once booked, which I duly did along with full address and postcde. I did this four days before meeting date. I also said I would confirm my room number once checked in again I did this. We had been exchanging messages and I even had a message on the afternoon as I was checking in, so as far as I was concerned all was going ahead as arranged. Out meeting was for 7 pm and at 6.15 had a message to say it was far to travel and instead of the rate agreed would come for double the rate. I was not happy to be told this as all the information had been given and to say 45 minutes before was appalling. I refused and cancelled our meeting but this is not what you expect from a professional and I have never experienced anything like this before. One star is bad and this is worse than bad
